At 150 years old, the historic grapefruit tree in the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center - JACCC plaza is Little Tokyo's oldest, most sustainable entity.
Join Sustainable Little Tokyo at Wolf & Crane on Wednesday, April 13th, 6-8pm to celebrate our 130+ years in Little Tokyo with 'the 1884' - a special cocktail Wolf & Crane is putting together, made with this historic fruit. Rafu Shimpo will also be on hand for anyone who wants to signup for their new e-newspaper!
With all the changes occurring in the Little Tokyo neighborhood, Historic Grapefruit Night helps us both remember the long and culturally rich history of Little Tokyo, while reminding us that drastic steps must be taken to protect and preserve our historic, family-owned small businesses that are the pillars of our 132 year old community. Sustainable Little Tokyo invites you all to Historic Grapefruit Night in the spirit of #economicsustainability, #culturalsustainability, and #historicsustainability, and also to just hang out and take a minute for fun in Little Tokyo.
Wednesday, April 13th, 6-8pm
Wolf & Crane, 366 E 2nd St, LA 90012
Please RSVP on our FB event, or to firstname.lastname@example.org
